• The Tuesday Night Urban Run Club, now more than a year old, sent a message with a new social networking site called the Urban Run Club. This group has grown impressively – they have 538 Facebook members. They meet Tuesdays at 7 in the Old Fourth Ward, or 04W, as I’m now told. Urban Run Club. Facebook Page.
• Some of the Cabbagetown Run Club’s regular group meets at Maynard Jackson High School (the old Southside) for track work tonight at 7. Intervals start at 7 so come warmed up. Contact Malissa for more info.
• 50 percent off through Feb. 9 for those wanting to sign up for Miami Marathon or Half in 2o11. Nearly 20,000 ran last weekend’s race (123 from Georgia ran the half; 50 ran the full. Web Site. 2010 results.
• You may have seen this last week, but here’s a reminder: Online registration for July 4 Peachtree Road Race starts at 1 p.m. on March 21. That’s the same day as the ING Georgia Marathon and Half. So if you’re running both – don’t dawdle.
